Wagercom.com 's NBA guru AC Titticock. AC will be answering reader e-mail every week or two, so keep e-mailing him with questions, ideas, and/or naked photos of your sisters. Questions can be about the NBA, Major League Baseball, Fantasy sports, or the great Taylor Rain-Janine Lindemuller debate. Just send your questions to ac@wagercom.com
Many of you have written in asking if the rumors are true about your boy AC and I can strongly confirm that they are 100% false. Just because P Diddy dropped the P from his name because he felt the P was becoming between him and his fans (and not just his shitty music, and I may get shot for that), does not mean I will be dropping the AC. While being known simply as Titticock has its merits, AC are the initials I was born with and my fans know that without the AC, there is no Titticock. So fear not, especially as I know there is more that comes between me and my fans than a simple 2 letters, such as my misanthropy, my love of the Filthy Ronald, and my predilection for dick jokes (have you heard about the dick who got caught robbing a watch store? He had to serve hard time. Bwhahahahaa).
Also, Wagercom.com will be in Las Vegas this upcoming weekend for our annual editorial meeting and fantasy football draft. If you’d like to meet your favorite (or least favorite) Wagercom.com writer, drop us an e-mail. Also, if you can help us out http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cas/92446438.html , please let me know.
On to the questions.
When was the last time the Golden State Warriors won 50 games? My
answer 2006!!!!!!!
Regards,
Nick
Well, technically the answer is 1994 when the Warriors were rolling out Sprewell, Webber, Mullin, Billy “I’m no Derrick Coleman” Owens, and the immortal Keith “Mr.” Jennings. That team got swept in the first round of the playoffs by Barkley’s Phoenix Suns.
I understand you think the Warriors are going to win 50 games this year and it hurts me to tell you that you are wrong (not as much as it hurts to shit with a hemorrhoid, but that’s another story). You see, back when I lived in San Francisco, I adopted the Marc Jackson, Vonteego Cummings, Adonal Foyle, Antawn Jamison, Warriors as my own. They were fun to watch as they played no defense and pathetic offense, yet they kept running, running, and running.
As for this Warriors team, I just don’t see it happening. After a plethora of terrible signings by Chris Mullin (who had to back on the bottle when he made them) including big contracts to average players such as Troy Murphy and Jason Richardson and big contracts to marginal players such as Adonal Foyle (and I may be Foyle’s #1 fan, seriously, he has talent, unfortunately I just don’t think it is for hoops), he went out and got Baron Davis. The Davis move worked out brilliantly as the Warriors were one of the hottest teams in the West at the end of last year, but don’t expect it to keep up.
First of all, Baron is going to get hurt at some point in time which leaves you with 98 year old Derek Fischer running the point. Secondly, Foyle is the only real center on the team (maybe Diogu can shift over there, unclear) and that can’t be good. Finally, Jason Richardson is just flat out crazy. He needs to be the number one guy and never will be. I guarantee he and Baron get into it before the season is done. I like the Warriors, but they will be hanging around .500 all season.
Has a N.F.L. game ever been shortend or cancelled due to the weather?
Thanks,
Brian Polomsky
Unfortunately, the answer is no. The only game ever shortened by weather was this pre-season game in 2003 . The only games ever to be cancelled were after the 9/11 terrorist acts of 2001.
If it were up to me, every Arizona Cardinal game would be only one quarter long and any game featuring Drew Bledsoe would be called due to sympathy for the mentally challenged. I would also lengthen the Ravens games just for the possibility of seeing Ray Lewis murder somebody or Jamal Lewis sell some crack on the sidelines. But that’s just me.
is it legal or not, how do u think ?
I mean, that i send this bullshit to u, is it legal or not ? And why ?
trihan
First of all, put down the meds, step away from baby, and take a deep breath.
As far as I know, the only things illegal are:
1. Murder
2. Stealing
3. Causing physical damage to someone/something
4. Hiring Isiah Thomas to run your NBA team
So sending me an e-mail is not illegal, at least in the United States of America. However, on the planet Crazo, where you appear to be from, it might be illegal so please don’t do it again.
What do you make of Isiah Thomas Blowing the Allan Houston Rule and keeping Allen Houston?
Knickfan
Let’s just say that at least Isiah never fails to surprise. There is nothing like keeping a guy with no knees for another 2 years and $40MM .
But blowing the Allan Houston rule is like if Don “Man Perm” Sutton had been the one to have Tommy John surgery instead of Tommy John or Babe Ruth had developed Lou Gehrig’s disease instead of Gehrig. I love this move for the Knicks, if only because it will allow me another year of Isiah jokes. I mean if the War of 1812 actually lasted until 1814, why does the Allan Houston rule have to involve Allan Houston?
Until next time, AC.
