And the Medal of Honor goes to……
So we beat up on those punk-ass trouble-makers at FIU. We are not condoning chasing after players with helmets raised. Anthony Reddick has been suspended, and rightfully so. But when those punks from FIU slam your friend to the ground, start punching and kicking him in the head, and then when your boys go to help out, and the FIU BENCH CLEARS, what the hell are you supposed to do? You beat them down and then go on to score 3 more touchdowns against those byatches. We give that pig of a program the opportunity to play us in the hallowed Orange Bowl and this is how they repay us?
Donna Shalala should cancel all contracts with FIU moving forward. What the talking head media jerks on ESPN don’t know is that every time we play FIU in any sport, their students are a disgrace.
This is what CSS sports commentator and former ‘Cane Lamar Thomas had to say about this event:
“Now, that's what I'm talking about. You come into our house, you should get your behind kicked. You don't come into the OB playing that stuff. You're across the ocean over there. You're across the city. You can't come over to our place talking noise like that. You'll get your butt beat. I was about to go down the elevator to get in that thing… I say, why don't they just meet outside in the tunnel after the ball game and get it on some more? You don't come into the OB, baby. We've had a down couple years but you don't come in here talking smack. Not in our house."
So let’s keep this simple. Miami is playing without 5 starters in Derrick Morse, Brandon Merriweather, Brian Monroe, Tyrone Byrd, and Randy Phillips when they travel to play mighty Duke this weekend.
You know what? I don’t care which players Miami lost. After sleepwalking through (hopefully) Larry Coker’s last season, the ‘Canes are fired up and ready to destroy somebody. They are favored to beat hapless Duke by 17.5. And this is not Duke lacrosse ladies and gentlemen.
Take Miami and the points. This team is pissed.
