01/17/04 Week 12 Free NBA Picks Against the Spread

I am excited to announce the addition of our new NBA Basketball expert analyst AC Titticock. While leafing through resumes prior to selecting our new NBA Basketball gambling expert it became clear that AC was the man for the job. Not only did his analysis come across entertaining but it was clear he knew the NBA and about betting on basketball. I am confident you will find his outlook on the NBA extremely useful especially when it comes to his weekly free NBA Basketball picks against the spread. AC will be providing us with a weekly outlook and his free NBA Basketball picks on some of the weekend games each Friday and sometimes Saturday as well.

AC has started the NBA betting season with a 49% winning percentage against the spread on his NBA basketball picks after 78 games.

NBA BASKETBALL WEEK 12

I have to say, the best thing about Isiah is that he continually gives me something to write about. First, he gets hired by the Knicks, a move I equated to hiring Stevie Wonder as your chauffeur. Then he trades for Marbury and handcuffs the Knicks to be at the high end of mediocrity for years. Now my boy Zeke has brought in 98 year old Lenny Wilkens to coach the team. Wilkens is the NBA’s all-time wins leader but guided the Raptors to only 24 victories last year. Now I don’t want to rip on Wilkens too much because he was a good coach in like 1984 but his time has passed. He couldn’t relate to whiny superstars like Vince Carter so giving him Marbury will surely be a treat. No way those two see eye to eye and no way does Wilkens coach the Knicks beyond next year. When they finish .500 next season, he is gone and then the Mark Aguirre era (or is it error?) can begin in NYC.

In other news of the week, trade rumors continue to swirl around Rasheed “smokey” Wallace. Trading for him is as bad of an idea as hiring Chris Wallace to be your GM. Speaking of Chris Wallace, his prize player Vinnie Baker is back hitting the sauce. Vin has yet to play after his 3 game suspension and everyday he continues to prove that Wallace is the worst GM in the history of basketball, and that includes my boy Isiah.

Anyway, this week’s column has to be brief but I will still get you paid on the free nba picks:

NBA BASKETBALL PICKS FOR SATURDAY 1/17/04

1-2 last night thanks to Marbury actually passing the ball first and shooting second, how would you know that? Also, the Clips didn’t show up but the Q did not play. That was not figured into the line I was given. As always, check the injury reports at game time before wagering.

On to Saturday’s picks:

Seattle -4 at Washington: This violates rule number one of my gambling guide which is never bet on a game that seems too good to be true. The Wizards are horrible. They don’t have their best player and Larry Hughes is their leading scorer. Seattle is good no matter what happened at MSG last night. The Sonics should win in a laugher, but again, that seems too good to be true. Take the Sonics but worry that the bookies know more than everybody else here.

Cleveland at Utah -7.5: Team LeDong has been in a little bit of a rut lately and this shouldn’t be the game they snap out of it. Utah is playing without Harpring, Stockton, and Malone but they do have Kirilenko who loves to play. Jazz should be fine here.

Detroit at Milwaukee -2: It all ends for Detroit tonight in Milwaukee. The winning streak was nice but you don’t bring it to Paul Pressey, Ricky Pierce, Terry Cummings, and Jack Sikma in their own house. Ok, so none of them are still playing but Toni Kukoc is and if you can’t root for the Croatian Sensation then you’re just un-American, and it’s not clear what that means.
