12/13/03 Week 7 Free NBA Picks Against the Spread
I am excited to announce the addition of our new NBA Basketball expert analyst AC Titticock. While leafing through resumes prior to selecting our new NBA Basketball gambling expert it became clear that AC was the man for the job. Not only did his analysis come across entertaining but it was clear he knew the NBA and about betting on basketball. I am confident you will find his outlook on the NBA extremely useful especially when it comes to his weekly free NBA Basketball picks against the spread. AC will be providing us with a weekly outlook and his free NBA Basketball picks on some of the weekend games each Friday and sometimes Saturday as well.
AC has started the NBA betting season with a 54% winning percentage against the spread on his NBA basketball picks after 48 games.
NBA BASKETBALL WEEK 7
Another week in the NBA and another coach fired. This time Frank Johnson got the ax in Phoenix, which makes me axe you all a question, since when was Frank Johnson the coach of the Suns? What’s next, are you going to tell me Hubie Brown is coaching the Grizzlies? Oh Bill Fitch, we miss thee.
Other big news is that the Celtics went on a three game win streak behind the impeccable play of Jiri Welsch. Jiri, who I have ripped apart in this column before is proving to be more than just the NBAs version of Joe Randa (a faithful Wagercom.com reader has posted this brilliant Haiku to our good friend the joker http://baseball-reference.com/r/randajo01.shtml). Jiri’s got game and pretty soon he is going to get all of Kedrick Brown’s groupies which means he’s still going to be a lonely guy. Actually the Celtics success happens when Mike James play well, the problem is that Mike James is not very good and thus rarely plays well. At least the C’s have Jumaine Jones to help them look good in the airports.
Elsewhere, Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall have sparked the Raptors to five straight wins. This is the most excitement Toronto has seen since they had Mugsy Bogues running the offense. I can’t wait to watch them implode in the first round when they play the Sixers. Anyway, I’ve got to keep this column short as you all are not paying me and I’ve got finals and a resume drop at my two year vocational school. If any of you are thinking about business school let me give you two pieces of advice, don’t hit on 16 and don’t think you’re too good to hook up with a fat chick. What does that have to do with business school, absolutely nothing but it’s more advice and knowledge than you’ll get out of 2 years and $100k. So the moral of the story is, enjoy the picks, make some cash, and remember your good friend AC on Jebus day, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Janine Lindemuller’s Birthday, Festivus, or whatever it is you celebrate in a couple of weeks.
On to the nba basketball picks for Saturday :
NBA BASKETBALL PICKS FOR SATURDAY 12/13/03
I went 1-2 on Friday night thanks to the Nets winning by 4 and not 4.5. I can not believe they could not beat the Magic by more than 4. I am thinking of having the NBA investigate. Jason Kidd loves to take my money. Not only did the Nets not show up but the Saturday night games are all horrible, ugh. However, as the #1 NBA expert in google’s search engine, I will still make you all money:
LA Lakers -5.5 at Portland: Blown out against Dallas, the Lakers will be looking to get back on track. Portland really is not very good though they play much better with Bonzi in Memphis. It will be close but Malone and Shaq will shut down Randolph and the Fake Show will win by 6.
Indiana at Chicago +7: I just can’t give 7 points at home, I don’t’ care who is playing. My gut tells me Indiana in a blow out but my head tells me to take the points and count my cash later. Moral of the story, don’t go with your gut, make the smart call and watch Jamal Crawford drop in 23 points to keep the Bulls within 7.
Phoenix at LA Clippers -3.5: Magette and Quentin Richardson are going to extend the Suns’ losing streak. I guess I never realized how much of a difference Frank Johnson made, bwhahahahaha!!!!!!! Phoenix is awful, the Clippers are too. However, the Clippers are playing well now that Brand is back. By the way, LA dusted off Glen Rice and threw him out on the court the other night however there is no truth to the rumor that they brought Rumeal Robinson in for a tryout as well.
