AC's outlook on the NBA is an entertaining original column featured here at Wagercom. If you are prone to NBA betting or even just an NBA fan, make sure you come back often to read his articles and free NBA Basketball picks against the spread. AC will be providing us with a weekly outlook during the basketball season including free NBA Basketball picks on some of the weekend games each Friday and Saturday.

Our NBA expert AC has had 3 consecutive winning seasons picking NBA games against the spread for a combined 317-281 record yielding a 53% winning percentage which would have won you money including the VIG. AC does this out of the kindness of his heart and for the naked pictures of your girlfriends you send him as a token of your appreciation. So enjoy the columns and the picks..

AC'S NBA FREE PICKS WEEK 4:

I have to keep it brief this week as your boy AC has some sort of stomach virus and has spent the last two days cowering under his covers, understanding what it must feel like to be Doc Rivers. Speaking of Doc, big kudos to Celtic fans for starting the “Fire Doc”chant last night. Too bad it is 1.5 years too late.

With the Thanksgiving holiday among us I thought I’d share with you the ten things I am most thankful for about the NBA.

10. Nate Robinson: I assume you all saw him block Yao Ming which is equivalent to anyone from a Real World episode winning a round of Jeopardy. Robinson is 5 foot 9 at best and plays with more spark and energy than anyone in the NBA. Imagine if superstars played like that, it would be like the 1980s all over again.

9. The new ball: I love that the players are so bothered by the new ball, especially Shaq. Wouldn’t you think Shaq would be the first to want to try a new ball? I mean could it make his shooting worse? I think the only thing that could make Shaq’s shooting worse is if his right arm were amputated, and even then it would be close.

8. Doc Rivers and Isiah Thomas: Without them, my weekly column would be shorter than Emmanuel Lewis standing on his knees.

7. Zach “two times anal” Randolph: Bad people = fun for all.

6. Players who sign big contracts and stop playing: Why am I thankful for this? Because it usually involves a terrible GM making a bad signing which gives me more material than Tolstoy had while writing War and Peace. Eddy Curry anyone?

5. The pick and roll: I love that after 100 years, most teams still can’t defend this, even when they go zone. If I were an NBA coach, and the league is lucky I am not, I would run the pick and roll for 48 minutes straight. I would also teach my team to pass the ball up the court, but that’s just good old physics.

4. Dwyane Wyane Wade: 27 points and 8 assists (and we’ll overlook the 4 turnovers a game). Wade can play this game.

3. The NBA draft: My favorite day of the year and this year, it promises to be the best ever. When the Bulls take Oden #1 with the Knicks pick, it will be the gift that keeps on giving.

2. The Euros: I like watching good passes and the only passes that most American born players know how to throw are the ones in strip clubs at the ladies “trying to put themselves through college.” By the way, if you haven’t had a chance to checkout Sergio “Spanish Chocolate” Rodriguez of the Trailblazers, it is a must. He makes up for his great passing with perhaps the worst NBA jumpshot since the immortal Bo Outlaw. Rodriguez may become the first NBA player to break a backboard without dunking.

1. LeDong: As I have said before, this is LeDong’s world and we’re just living in it.

Friday Night Free NBA Picks:

New York at Boston -4.5:

Last week the Celtics went to Madison Square Garden, played poorly for 3 quarters, and still beat the Knicks. I'm not sure why tonight will be any different. I did hear the Celtics are running a half time promotion where a lucky fan will get to coach the team for the 3rd quarter and see how much better the team performs without Doc Rivers at the helm. In the three quarters Rivers' coaches, I say the Celts win by 2 and in the one quarter a fan coaches, I say the Celtics win by 9. So give the points and hope the fan they choose isn't Isiah Thomas.

Chicago +1 at Philadelphia:

Pick against the Sixers giving points all year. They are not only terrible, but they suck as well. When Willie Green is all of a sudden your second leading scorer, things are not looking good. Bonus question: Where did Willie Green go to college? And you can't look it up. If you said Detroit, perhaps you should be giving me advice.

Toronto at Atlanta -3.5:

Things I know about Atlanta: They have Joe Johnson and one of the Josh/JR Smiths. Things I know about Toronto: They suck. Take the Hawks and hope they play with intensity.

Minnesota at NO/OK City Over 186:

Sometimes they call it gambling for a reason. Take the over and hope Ricky Davis runs.

Saturday Night Free NBA Picks:

A terrible night for AC last night but I blame the stomach virus for that. As for the Celtics excuse for losing by 20+ to the Knicks, perhaps they thought it was like golf where the lowest score wins. It was a worse performance than Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunhine of the Spotless Mind one of AC’s all-time least favorite movies. Tonight will be much different as I am able to eat solid food which means I am hungry for cash to feed the monster.

Philadelphia at Cleveland -7.5:

A lot of points to give, but the Sixers are probably still euphoric about their blow out of the Bulls last night. Take the Cavs and hope their scrubs continue to rub it in when they go up 15.

LA Clippers -3.5 at Minnesota:

Giving points on the road is never fun but neither is watching Mark Blount and his team leading 2.5 turnovers a game and .15 assist to turnover ratio. Take the Clips and root for Kaman to finally do something.

New Orleans/OK City +8 at Dallas:

Dallas should win, but not by 8. The Mavs had a tough game last night so are due for a let down and the Whorenets should keep it close as long as Peja hits the open jumpers.

Chicago -2 at New York:

If Scott Skiles is half the coach I think he is, the Bulls will come out blazing tonight. If not, I will have to recalibrate.
