AC's outlook on the NBA is an entertaining original column featured here at Wagercom. If you are prone to NBA betting or even just an NBA fan, make sure you come back often to read his articles and free NBA Basketball picks against the spread. AC will be providing us with a weekly outlook during the basketball season including free NBA Basketball picks on some of the weekend games each Friday and Saturday.

Our NBA expert AC has had 3 consecutive winning seasons picking NBA games against the spread for a combined 317-281 record yielding a 53% winning percentage which would have won you money including the VIG. AC does this out of the kindness of his heart and for the naked pictures of your girlfriends you send him as a token of your appreciation. So enjoy the columns and the picks..

AC'S NBA BASKETBALL FREE PICKS WEEK 22:

It’s almost tax time which means your boy AC has been spending time with his pencil sharpener, adding machine, copy of turbo tax, and anal lube to make the government’s deductions les painful. Never fear though as in between figuring out my itemized deductions, I have been watching the NBA and scouring the box scores to determine which teams are tanking, which players are still playing, and most importantly, which teams are for real so when playoff time comes, we can all win cash. This week’s column has to be brief as turbo tax hates calculating my taxes correctly, so below are the three biggest recent NBA stories.

Gilbert Arenas is out for the rest of the year:

What a terrible injury for Gilbert and Wizards’ fans everywhere (and yes that was a joke since we know there is no such thing as a Wizards’ fan, it’s kind of like the Loch Ness Monster or a hot chick on a college rowing team). Adding Arenas’ injury to the one of Caron Butler leaves the Wizards without their top two players. They are now relying on Jarvis Hayes, Antonio Daniels, and the ever improving DeShawn Stevenson. This is not a good thing, unless you are a Heat or Raptors fan and thus will likely get to sweep the Wiz in the first round. It really is a shame because Washington’s rise was one of the better stories in the NBA this year and now it is crushed like the dreams of a 19 year old Vivid Video actress of moving into legitimate films (though I find Vivid Video very legitimate). Let’s hope Gilbert heals in time for next season as the NBA won’t be the same without him.

The Knicks continue to choke:

Losing a must win game at home to Philly would normally be the final straw for coach/gm/talent evaluator but not this time. James Dolan smartly (and by smartly I mean whatever the exact opposite of smartly is) re-upped Isiah to a big extension and since then the team and Isiah have rewarded him by going 3 and 9. I really don’t know what to say about this other than Dolan is to making good basketball decisions as this guy is to masculinity (and please watch the video if you can, and if you find the guy’s balls, I am sure he would love to have them back). Anyway, the Knicks are now only 8 games better than last year in a more watered down Eastern Conference with teams trying to lose on purpose. I remain shocked every time I think about how Isiah received an extension despite having the highest payroll in the league and missing the Eastern Conference playoffs. There are just no words for this. I really the hope the pictures he has of James Dolan come out someday. I keep betting they involve a donkey and a sombrero but I am being told they might also include Emmanuel Lewis.

Kobe, Kobe, Kobe:

Bryant averaged over 40 points per game in the month of March which is just a ridiculous number. It’s like a baseball player hitting over .450 for a month, Pac Man Jones getting arrested 15 times in a month (and he is getting oh so close), or Taylor Rain shooting 4 anal scenes a day for a month. No one can stop Kobe, not even a court of law. With hand checking no longer allowed and defensive intensity all but non-existent in the regular season NBA, Kobe can do as he pleases on the offense side of the ball (or in Colorado hotel rooms, take your pick). The most important part of this though is that for the Lakers to win Kobe needs to score 40+ points per game. As a team, they have been struggling to put the ball in the basket so Kobe’s ability to put points up at will is huge for this LA team. They’re still going to lose in the first round of the playoffs, but it will be fun to watch.

Friday Night NBA Picks

It is the time of year where betting on NBA games is near impossible, not as impossible as laughing at a Robin Williams movie, but close to it. There are teams tanking for ping pong balls and teams already in the playoffs resting their players. Therefore, it is difficult to know who will be starting or even playing on any given night. Out of 13 games on the schedule tonight, 6 currently don’t have lines in more than one casino due to all of the uncertainty. With that constraint, choose tonight’s games carefully.

Cleveland -5 at Washington:

No Arenas, no chance. If LeDong plays, this is a blow out, if not, you may want to put your money somewhere else. Just hope LeDong plays and hope the Cavs play 2 quarters of defense, and tease the under 200 if you can.

New Jersey at Chicago -6:

The Bulls love playing at home and the Nets love getting blown out. This should be an awful game to watch but at least you know both teams will generally be trying. Take the Bulls and hope Ben Gordon gets hot.

Dallas at Denver Over 210.5:

It is really tempting to take the Mavericks -3.5 but it is not clear if Dirk is going to play. In that case, go with the over and hope Iverson finds his scoring touch.

Phoenix at New Orleans Over 204:

When in doubt, take the Suns and the over.

Who is going to stop Kobe? Better question, who is going to stop Yao?

Saturday Night NBA Picks:

What a terrible night last night was. The NBA should really just cancel the season now and start the playoffs, seriously, it is uglier than Minnie Driver . Anyway, I will win you your money back tonight or if you are really feeling good, just take all Unders.

Washington at New Jersey Under 204:

Hmm, Washington is without two of their top three scorers and the Nets offense sucks. Seriously, what am I missing here? Did one of these teams just sign Kevin Durant? Take the under and turn the channel.

New York -1 at Milwuakee:

If the Knicks can’t beat a team that is trying to lose, Isiah needs to immediately be fired. No joke. This would be a disgrace even for Isiah. Take the Knicks and hope the Bucks don’t decide to play Redd or Williams.

Boston at Indiana Under 184:

The Celtics offense without Pierce and Jefferson runs as smoothly as sandpaper over a cactus. Add in Indiana’s total ineptness with Jamaal “The human calf injury” Tinsley and you have the makings of a simply horrible game. Hide the women and children and take the under.

Portland at Dallas Over 184.5:

I know this is the over when I said take only unders but the Mavericks are not going to crap their pants like they did last night. I know Josh Howard may not play, but the Mavs will still run. Take the over and hope the Blazers can hit 85.
