AC'S FREE NBA PICKS AND COLUMN WEEK 12:

Last week we had Eastern Conference senryus so this week it is on to the Western Conference.

    Western Conference Senryus:

    Dallas Mavericks:

    Finally healthy

Sleeper team out in the West

    Lakers too good though

    Denver Nuggets:

    Melo most improved

Score like crazy when at home

    Too bad road games count

    Golden Shower State Warriors:

    Why let Nelson coach?

    Senile or wants to lose?

    What a huge fuck up.

    Houston Rockets:

    No stars, no egos

    Team built using statistics

    First round playoff loss

    Los Angeles Clippers:

    The curse continues

Griffin out for year with knee

    Baron with hurt cunt

    Los Angeles Lakers:

    Ron-Ron hit his head

    Lucky it was protected

    By being empty

    Memphis Grizzlies:

    Randolph playing nice

Doubt it will last much longer

    Loves strippers too much

    Minnesota TerribleWolves™:

    Al on the trade block?

    They should contact Danny Ainge

    He’ll swap KG. blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    Oklahoma City:

    Is there a worse place

To live and play than OK

    Even strippers fat

    Phoenix Suns:

    Channing Frye is good?

I must have missed the memo

    Short this team right now

    Portland Trailblazers:

    Oden, Pryzbilla

    Fernandez, Travis Outlaw

    Curse of Sam Bowie?

    Sacramento Kings:

    Nice little surprise

    Maloofs must be excited

    Mostly for this though

    San Antonio Spurs:

    Big question for them

    Are they just playing possum

    Or finally old?

    Utah Jazz:

    This team has no chance

    Need a scoring wing player

    And drink with caffeine

    Friday NBA Free Picks:

After a disappointing weekend last week, tonight we need to make some money back because AC is thirsty and his gold-flaked Dom Perignon ain’t free.

    New Orleans -2 at Detroit:

The Pistons just ended their longest losing streak since they had a center rotation of Bison Dele and Eric Montross (and can we all pour some out for Montross), yet it is doubtful that this is the start of anything good. Joe Dumars has managed to assemble a team that fits together as well as a Mack truck fits into Paris Hilton’s vagina (and you see, a Mack truck is way too small for that). The Whorenets aren’t much better but have been playing a bit frisky of late with Chris Paul taking over and Emeka Okafor showing a bit of life. I don’t love this game because New Orleans is as reliable as Mickey Rourke, but they have won 7 out of 8 games so let’s just keep that stat quiet before gamblers find out and hope Okafor continues to hit the boards.

    Indiana -3 at New Jersey:

The Pacers are healthy and the Nets suck worse than that last Indiana Jones movie or mayonnaise. All year AC has been saying the Nets are better than their record, but you know what, AC was wrong. Devin Harris is playing like a man with a guaranteed contract and New York City night life just a quick limo ride away and if your point guard doesn’t give a fuck, you are more screwed than a guy trying to rat on Marvin Harrison. So roll with a healthy Pacers team tonight and if you are among the zero fans watching this game, keep your eye on AJ Price who is starting to earn more time with his play.

    Oklahoma City at Dallas -5:

Dallas is pretty much at full strength with Josh Howard having been reinserted in to the starting line-up and the Thunder have had a ridiculously easy schedule. Dallas may not be able to stop Durant, but they should be able to stop Green, Westbrook, and Nenad Krstic while Oklahoma City will have no answer for Dirk, Marion, Terry, and the aforementioned Howard. Take the Mavs and hope Kidd stands in front of Westbrook enough to pick-up just half of Westbrook’s bad passes.

    Phoenix at Atlanta -5:

For perhaps the first time ever, AC is taking the favorite in all four games he picks. He thought about Sacramento +3 at Philadelphia but is worried that Tyreke Evans may get caught in a drive-by at halftime in his first visit back to his home town. The Hawks are simply better than the Suns and are at home and need to show the league that they can beat a good team not named Boston. Take Atlanta and root for them to play 2 quarters of defense.

    Saturday Free NBA Picks:

A shitriffic Friday night for AC who is below .500 this late in the season for the first time in seven years. Even Superman had a bad year once in a while, unfortunately AC can’t reverse the Earth and go back to the beginning of the year. That said, tonight we’ll make some money because strippers need to eat too.

    Miami at Oklahoma City -4.5:

Both played last night on the road, and the Heat just have to fly in from Houston and OK City from Dallas, so they should be equally tired and disinterested. In that case, take the Thunder as the Heat have won two in a row on the road and they’re not good enough to win three in a row away from home.

New York at Detroit Under 194.5:

The Knicks have slowed the pace down and the Pistons have no pace. The Knicks could win this game by 40, so you might want to tease this with the Knicks and the money line, but just hope that if that happens, the score is not 120-80. Take the under and root for Rodney Stuckey to keep playing like Rodney Suckey. Blahhhhhhhhhhh.

    Milwaukee +9 at Utah:

The Bucks are sputtering like Shannon Tweed’s movie career. Something that once seemed so bright has been relegated to some boob shots and pseudo-lesbianism on Skinamax. It was bound to happen, Milwaukee just doesn’t have the talent. That said, they should put up a fight tonight in Utah. Sure it’s one of the hardest places in the league to win, but we don’t need a win, just a single digit defeat.

Cleveland at LA Clippers Over 193:

LeDong was probably out all night in LA last night so there is no way he will be in shape to play defense tonight. Plus, given that he’s in LA, he’s going to want to put on a show and score some points. The Cavs will break 100 so you just need the Clips to hit 90 and last I checked, Eric Gordon likes to score.
