Notes from last week:

1) I still blame Chris Rix for the FSU game last week. I understand he was watching from sideline this could easily be enough to make his team lose and even if they win definitely not cover. As much as I hate to continue advocating the disposal of this young man, I don’t see what choice Nole fans have. If you’re too lily livered to “bust a cap in him” (as the kids like say)at least have the common courtesy to frame him for arson or something.

2) Ohio State Buckeyes should rename themselves the Ohio State Donkey Shows because that’s about how much they blow. If you’re going to lose at least make it interesting. Human rights advocates are interviewing season ticket holders to see if Coach Tressel’s offense can be considered a crime against humanity.

3) Texas QB Vincent Young apparently believes he will leave UT next year after his Junior season. The real question is where would he go, cuse it sure ain’t the NFL. I can only assume he is transferring to a school with a highly ranked rugby team, where you aren’t allowed to throw a forward pass.

4) Oklahoma DT Dusty Dvoracek, was kicked off the Sooner squad several weeks ago. Can you imagine what you have to do to get kicked off football factory OU’s team. We may have finally found the WMD?

Free College Football Picks:

WEST VIRGINIA -7 @ UCONN

The bloom is off the rose, also off the orange, the sugar and the fiesta. However The Mountaineers are still a very good team. The Huskies have played well but are out of their league. I mean for chrissakes Uconn is a basketball school, and West Virginia is a…um…uh…well… an accredited drinking school. Boozers beat the Hoopsters.

WISCONSIN @ PURDUE -6

The Boilermakers have been playing on and off fortunately this is an on week. Wisconsin still doesn’t believe you have to score to win. The Badgers are overrated and Purdue isn’t nuff said.

LOUISVILLE @ MIAMI -9

Louisville has putting up all kinds of points against nobody defenses. This week they run in to the best defense in Florida, manned by men who are just as familiar with the penal system as they are with a 4-3 defense. You know what they do to people to prison don’t ya? Hurricanes make the Cardinals their prison bitches on Saturday.

BOSTON COLLEGE -5 @ PITTSBURGH

You have to love this game. Pitt could get blown out by a Division II school, remember the battling Furhman whatever-they-ares took this team to the edge. The Jesuits run roughshod over the team best representing the Big East’s decline into mediocrity.
