WEEK 1 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS
WAKE FOREST-12 @ BAYLOR
Baylor is seemingly unaware that Texas has a plethora of football talent that they can recruit.
OREGON STATE +3 @ STANFORD
The Beavers can’t be a .500 team without beating Stanford, and Riley loves to be average.
USC @ VIRGINIA +19 ½
Don’t get too excited. USC is about a thousand times better than Virginia, but they won’t bother to show it with the Ohio State game coming up. I reserve the right to change this prediction if USC changes their player mortgage rates or starts offering bounties.
ALABABMA @ CLEMSON -4 ½
Nick Saban is a great coach, but Shula left him with crappy ingredients. From crappy ingredients comes a crappy sandwich. Bama fans are going to have to take a huge bite of that crap sandwich come Saturday.
WASHINGTON +14 @ OREGON
Ty Willingham loses close games better than any other coach that bears a striking resemblance to Lando Calrissian. Shockingly Oregon has a QB with a bad knee injury. They should explore patent rights on that.
TENNESSEE @ UCLA + 7 ½
Don’t go getting hopeful Bruin fans this is probably still a loss. It will still take months if not years to wash clean the soiled sheets that were the Karl Dorell era.
