Week Thirteen Free NFL Football Picks

As Jiggy has been on a winning streak for the last month or so, and all of you have gotten rich from his knowledge, this column will be short and not so sweet. I have been receiving many fan letters and I wanted to publish two here, sort of as templates for all of you who don’t quite know what to write.

The first letter was odd…

Dear Jiggy,

Boy is it cold here in Detroit. It has been especially cold for me lately as my work hasn’t gone too well. I have been reading your column for a while and I remember when you had a couple of 0-4 weeks, so you must know what it is like.

My co-workers and bosses don’t seem to understand me and further, they have lost confidence in me. In fact, I was fired the day after thanksgiving.

I hope you can offer me some advice and also a little holiday cheer. My family doesn’t know yet, so please don’t write about it in your column. And also, if you need someone to write a column for you, I know a whole lot about High School Sports in the Detroit Area and even have some experience with an NFL Team.

I hope your holidays treat you well. Please take extra special care with your picks this week as they are going to help me buy presents for my baby-mama and her shorties.

Ever Yours,

S. Mariucci

My answer to Steve was as follows:

Dear Steve,

I used to believe in you too. Thanks for boning me out of a 4-0 week. Learn to get a running game and try getting a QB who doesn’t suck.

There are no jobs for you here at Wagercom.

Merry Effing Christmas.

The second letter is really more of what you should all aspire to. In fact, it is the standard by which all fan letters will be judged. I have included the picture she sent so you all understand why I will be watching the SC-UCLA game from the bed (and I hope I will be too sore to watch closely).

Dearest Jiggy,

My heart, body and soul long for you. A night doesn’t go by that I don’t yearn for your touch. I wake with the feeling that you were here. It isn’t a physical sensation (though my body and mind shake from aftereffects of your presence) nor is a mental one, nay, it is in the soul.

girlsWhen my two roommates leave the bed (they are on both sides of me in the picture I sent) it should be cold, but your essence warms me and it. In many ways, you are the sun and I am a sapling, or a newly budded flower.

I love you, I love you, I love you. Every week that I read your column I feel more fulfilled, more in-tune, more alive. You are the reason I wake up everyday and the reason I go to sleep. For when I am awake I may revel in day dreams of you and when I am asleep, then the indulgent dreams that my conscious mind dare not conjure may dominate me, tease me, seduce me, liberate me and sate me.

My two little friends can only satisfy me physically, you complete me.

Write soon, write often and of course, if you are ever at Cornell, come see the three of us. Though I am sure that whatever we give you will pale in comparison to what we give you, we are, and shall be, your devoted servants.

Longingly,

Stacy

Now, the NFL picks:

Carolina Panther Fans

Hotlanta (Falcons) @ Carolina (Panthers) – Carolina -3

Silly Falcons…

The Panthers have finally played up to their potential this season. They are one of the better teams in the NFC. (Sort of like being the least slutty girl at a gang bang.) The Panthers are tough at home and Delhomme and Steve Smith have found that je ne sais quoi that makes this team unbeatable. Take Carolina and give the measly three.
Plummer Girl

John Elway (Denver) at Steve Bono (KC) – Elway -1

Why does anyone think that KC can win this game? Seriously. I know they are at home and I know that their offense is gelling. But let me remind you that Shanahan had Ron ‘the great and gutty badger’ Dayne running down the field in Dallas for the win. This Denver team is going to represent the AFC in the super bowl. And trent green is an accident waiting to happen. (I know, the accident has already happened a few times this season, but it will happen again – I assure you). Take the Broncos and give the point.

Jax at Cleveland – Jax -3

Jaguar Fan

I don’t really like talking about the Jax. In fact, I want to be alone. Just take the Jax. Really. (I know this is what I said last week, but it is still true.)

Free NFL Lock of the Week

Michael Pittman (Tampa Bay) at Aaron Stecker (New Orleans) – Mr. Pittman -3.5
Tampa Bay Cheerleaders

So I was watching the Saints v. Jets game and I learned many things. It reinforced for me the fact that the Sunday night broadcast team on ESPN could only get worse if Dan Dierdorf were included. I would rather they have a loop of cats being strangled than listen to those dolts. But I also learned that the Saints cannot play football. They just can’t. Sure, they beat the Jets, but the jets are coached by a halfwit and quarterbacked by a marginal college QB. This one should be a total laugher. The Saints will be forced in to myriad mistakes and the running game and not-too-terrible passing of the Bucs will take this one. Look for the TB defense to cover this spread. Take the Bucs.

Many of my fans ask me where I wager. I have a gambling problem so I bet on everything from the ponies to how long (in inches) my excrement is. But I have been a proud customer to sportingbetusa.com for some time ( Join www.sportingbetusa.com now and receive a generous sign up bonus. ). They have good lines, great promotions, many betting options and most importantly, I get my money from them on time. They have signed a deal with Wagercom.com. So if you are looking for an online book, try them out. They are Jiggy tested and Jiggy approved.
