For those of you new to this football betting picks column, our expert NFL football handicapper Jiggy is coming off a money making 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2005-2006 NFL season.posting a winning record on both his NFL football picks and NFL Lock of the Week against the spread. Each week during the NFL season Jiggy will share his free winning NFL football picks as well as his entertaining take on the current happenings of the NFL.
NFL Week 11 Free Picks & Column
In the interest of many things and as a result of still many-er things I am afraid Jiggy will be both terse and prophetic this week.
The whole death, salvation, rebirth thing was extremely tiring. And further, watching my California Golden Bears take it on the chin from the vaunted (sarcasm ruefully intended) Cats of Arizona was maddening, sickening and draining.
All of this leads to a theme of lethargy. We, as gamblers, don’t need to be physically fit (though there is ample evidence that exercise tends to stimulate and improve mental processes) this is all ok.
The quick and the dirty for this week is not about witty banter, it isn’t about squirting sweeties (but I might argue that it should be) nor is it about cheerleaders. Nay. This week is about making money. This week is about winning football bets. So let’s dive right in.
Results from last week –
Charming week Baltimore. It is always a real big accomplishment to beat the Titans. Will everyone please get off of the Baltimore bandwagon. They just aren’t that good.
The Chargers easily covered. They really made it look effortless didn’t they?
Buffalo may be one of the most unpredictable (yet bad) teams in the NFL.
Miami, Houston and The J-E-T-S all had surprising wins. Huzzah and congrats to them
The gutty Niners showed that Mike Nolan may have what it takes, however, we mustn’t start fellating one another because of a win over the lowly Lions.
Denver offense is as bad as their defense is good. Think about that.
On to the free NFL picks…
NE (NE) at GB (GB)– NE -5.5
The Belichek is going to be very, very angry for having lost to the lowly JETS. I am afraid that poor Brett Favre will be the recipient of his wrath. Take the Pats and give the points (even though it is Lambeau and it is November).
Big Ben (Pit) at (k)Ellen Winslow Jr. (Cle) – Pit -3.5
As Kelly Clarkson always says, “I’m so movin’ on – Yeah – Yeah.” Take the Steelers, they love to party.
Carson Palmer (Cin) at N’Awlins (NO) – Cincy +3.5
As Kelly Clarkson also always says, “I am famous, I shouldn’t have to swallow.” Poor Kelly. It is a shame that she is so misguided, yet so pudgy. Jiggy would still enjoy her youthful essence, but I am not sure he would brag about it. Cincy is too strong for the Saints. They are angry about being embarrassed last week and they are going to come out pumped. Take the Cats and the points.
Jason Campbell - yup (Was) at Steven (or is it Stephen) Gradkowski (TB) – TB -3
As Kelly Clarkson also always says, “that hole is ONLY for pooping.” What she means is that we are ‘eating shit’ for having to watch this game. But we do love the Chuckies against a new QB and a team that lost their only good player (Clinton Portis). So let’s enjoy the love as TB romps all over the first time starter.
